INVITATION FOR BID
The Board of Pueblo County Commissioners is seeking competitive bids for the following work:
2024 Gravel Crushing Project
Work generally consists of, but is not limited to, all work necessary to crush a total of approximately 40,000 tons
of Class V Crushed Gravel for Mountain Shadow Pit and 20,000 tons of Class V Crushed Gravel for Everhart Pit.
The contractor may bid on one or both crushing locations.

April 12, 2024, 2:00 p.m. MT (our clock)
A 5% bid bond shall accompany each bid received. If only one site is bid, the amount of the bid bond shall be based
upon that amount. If a bid is submitted for both sites, the amount of the bid bond shall be based on the total of both
sites. A Performance Bond, Labor and Materials Payment Bond and Certificates of Insurance (coverage in
accordance with the contract documents) will be required of the successful bidder. Performance and Labor Bonds
will be based on the total amount awarded to a contractor.

To be eligible to bid, bidder must obtain all bid documents from the Pueblo County Purchasing Division via
e-mail at purchasing@pueblocounty.us. Those wishing to obtain bidding document(s) directly from the
office of the Pueblo County Purchasing Division, must first call (719) 583-6095 to schedule an appointment
to do so.
Bidders may submit their bid electronically to purchasing@pueblocounty.us. Sealed bids may be submitted via
U.S. Mail or Currier to the Pueblo County Purchasing Division at the address listed above. Bidders wishing to
hand-deliver their sealed bid, must call the Pueblo County Purchasing at (719) 583-6097 to schedule an
appointment prior to delivering their bid. The subject line of the email must read: “Sealed Bid, IFB No. 24-13 –
2024 Gravel Crushing Project”.
