PUEBLO COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF ENGINEERING AND PUBLIC WORKS
ADDENDUM NO.1
PUEBLO WEST - ASPHALT OVERLAY 2024
For Which Bids Has been Rescheduled to Be Opened at The Pueblo County Department
of Engineering and Public Works Office, By 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday the 24th day of
APRIL 2024.
The following are changes to the Contract Specifications and Plans to be incorporated in the
above-referenced Project. All other provisions and requirements are as originally set forth,
remain in full force and are binding.
1. This Section modifies “TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS” section of the bidding
documents, page TS – 9 (84/85 on the PDF), the Road Work description for Full
Reconstruction shall read as:
Reconstruction of Industrial leg of intersection: Full depth reclamation of the
roadway segment, this will include all asphalt and continuing to at least 4” of the
existing basecourse, processing millings, placement and compaction of the
material and placement of 4ʺ HMA pavement that will consist of 2ʺ of HMA S &
2” of HMA SX pavement.
2” Mill and Overlay of the N. McCulloch Blvd. Leg of the intersection: 2” mill of
existing asphalt and placement of 2” of HMA SX pavement.
Tack & Overlay; 2ʺ of HMA SX pavement placement and Tack coat that adheres to
the standards set forth in CDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge
construction.
2. This modifies section “5- BID PROPOSAL” of the bidding documents. The bid tab shall
be modified to reflect the quantities of the new modified scope. It also added the Bid
items, 202-00220 Asphalt Removal – 2”, 310-00400 Process Asphalt Mat for Base
Course , 310-00608 Full Depth Reclamation of Hot Mix Asphalt pavement and 608-01550
Place asphalt millings. A new Bid Schedule BID TAB has been added to this Addendum
to be used instead.

This Addendum No. 1 to the above project shall become part of the Contract Documents and
shall be binding in all respects. The bidder shall permanently affix this Addendum No. 1 to the
Contract Documents and Specifications so it will be turned in with the bid. Bid proposals turned
in not containing this Addendum are subject to immediate disqualification.
