The City of Homestead, Florida (the “City”) is seeking proposals (“Proposals”) pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Request for Proposals (this “RFP”) for the Sale of Fill as described herein. In 1999, the City obtained permits for excavating a 57-acre lake (as depicted in Exhibit 1) to an elevation of (-) 52.5 feet N.G.V.D. The City intends to sell approximately 1,160,000 cubic yards of fill from the City owned property located at SW 344th Street and approximately SW 142nd Avenue (the “Lake Site”).
