202328-Architectural & Engineering Services for Wastewater Treatment Backup Generators

The City of Homestead invites sealed proposals from qualified Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms meeting the minimum qualifications described in the RFQ. It is the City’s intent to enter into an agreement with the most qualified A/E firm to provide project plans and design for the City of Homestead Wastewater Treatment (WWT) Backup Generators Project. A contract will be negotiated and awarded to a firm based on the best interest of the City.

This Request for Qualifications is subject to the Florida Consultant’s Competitive Negotiations Act, Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 31, cost principles. The firm shall comply with all DEO requirements pursuant to the DEO Agreement No. I0127 between State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and the City of Homestead.

Funding for this project has been made possible through grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant Mitigation Program (CDBG-MIT). All procurement and contracting for these services shall follow state and federal regulations including, but not limited to, 2 CFR, Part 200; 24 CFR Part 85; 24 CFR Part 570.489, 570.490, 570.502, 570.506, 570.508 & 570.509.
