General Notice

City of Panama City (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Star Ave./Liberty Blvd. Signal and Intersection Improvements

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City of Panama City Purchasing Division located at 501 Harrison Avenue, Room 238, Panama City, FL 32401, until November 1st, at 2:00 pm CT. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read in Room 10 by the Selection Committee, who will then evaluate the bids to ensure responsiveness and will make a recommendation of award.

The Project includes the following Work: This project consists of construction of a new asphalt signalized intersection with associated signalization and appurtenances. The project includes new turn lanes, striping and minor associated stormwater improvements.

The Project shall be substantially complete within 150 days and fully complete within 180 days.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the City of Panama City. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Engineer’s office. Addenda, if any will be emailed electronically and are available in a pdf format on City of Panama City's website: https://www.panamacity.gov/bids/aspx and Bonfire Portal: https://panamacity.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities and a return receipt will be requested to confirm receipt.
