CDBG DR Project Restore Area A2
General Notice
City of Panama City (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
CDBG DR Project Restore Area A2
City Bid No. PC24-006
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received electronically by the City of Panama City
Purchasing Division, until Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 2:00 pm CT. At that time, all Bids received will
be publicly opened and read at City Hall located at 501 Harrison Avenue, Lower Level, Room 10,
Panama City, FL 32401.
The Project consists of three components which are described in detail in the bid documents and
include the following Work:
Replacement of gravity sewer lines ranging in diameter from 6” to 16”, potable water lines
ranging from 6” to 8”, stormwater pipes ranging from 15” to 42”, and various components related
to these including fittings, laterals, manholes, service connections, hydrants, inlets, and others.
Also, asphalt paving, concrete curbs and gutters, landscaping and various related tasks.
The Project has an expected duration of 365 days if a Bidder is awarded only one Schedule and 550 days
if a Bidders is awarded more than one Schedule.
Non-Mandatory Pre-bid Conference
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at
1:00 p.m. CT in Room 10 of City Hall located at 501 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401.
Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the City of Panama City. Prospective Bidders may obtain
copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office by emailing purchasing@panamacity.gov or in
person at City of Panama City Purchasing Division, Room 238, 501 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, FL
32401, Phone number 850-872-3070.
Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including
Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing office. Addenda, if any will be emailed to
plan holders and will be available in a pdf format on the Bonfire Portal:
