General Notice

City of Panama City (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

SRF Area U Phase 2

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received electronically via the City of Panama City's Bonfire Portal at https://panamacity.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities until Wednesday, September 6th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. CT. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read in City Hall, 501 Harrison Avenue, Lower Level, Room 10, Panama City, FL 32401 by the Selection Committee, who will then evaluate the bids to ensure responsiveness and will make a recommendation of award.

The Project includes the following Work:

This project consists of the replacement and rehabilitation of water and wastewater lines, pavement, curb, sidewalks, and lift station improvements. The limits of the project are S Bonita Ave. from Adams St. to Bunkers Cove Rd., Bayou Ct. from S Palo Alto Ave. to S Bonita Ave., Bunkers Cove Rd., Adams St., S. MacArthur Ave., and S Palo Alto Ave. from Adams St. to S Bonita Ave., Rowe Dr., Sudduth Dr., and Alleys 1, 2, 3, and 4. This project is funded by FDEP-SRF, which has an American Iron and Steel requirement.

The Project shall be substantially complete within 540 days and fully complete within 570 days.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd , 2023, at 2:00 PM CT in Room 10 of City Hall located at 501 Harrison Avenue Panama City, FL 32401.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the City of Panama City. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Engineer’s office. Addenda, if any will be emailed electronically and are available in a pdf format on City of Panama City's website: https://www.panamacity.gov/bids/aspx and Bonfire Portal: https://panamacity.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities and a return receipt will be requested to confirm receipt.
