23-017 Natural Gas Pipeline Replacement at Regulator Station 2

Per Addendum Two, the submittal due date has been extended to May 24, 2023, 2:30 P.M., local time. The question deadline has been extended to May 17, 2023, 10:00 A.M., local time.

Per Addendum One, this project has been placed on hold until further notice pending revision of specifications. A later addendum will set a new submittal due date and question deadline.

The scope of work may include, but is not limited to, the following:

Steel Main Install - Will include trenching, final clean-up, restoration, and provide a completed pipeline system ready for gas distribution as herein specified and according to the attached PE facility map/drawing and specifications. Main shall be made live as soon as practical.

Steel to Steel Main Tie-in - Will include testing main, pigging line, installation of the necessary squeeze-off or steel appurtenances for gas control, as well as tapping through steel, and purging. Also includes final clean-up and restoration. All steel connections shall be welded connections (with no mechanical fittings).

Abandon Steel Main – Will include installation of the necessary fittings, squeeze-off or steel appurtenances for gas control, as well as tapping through steel, purging abandoned facilities, and capping lines, per PE standards, and final clean-up and restoration. This Item is only paid when retiring existing pressurized gas system per project design.

Dewatering pit/main line – Will include all equipment, labor, and provisions necessary to dewater when required for completion of work. All dewatering must adhere to requirements of Section 1.38 Environmental Hazards.
