2023 - CITY OF PENSACOLA COUNCIL CHAMBER RENOVATIONS

The scope of this project is interior renovation work inside the City of Pensacola Council Chambers, located at Pensacola City Hall, 222 West Main St., Pensacola, FL 32502. Work includes the demolition of existing seating, portions of walls, finishes, casework components, mechanical, and electrical items.

New installation work will include refinishing existing Council casework, newly installed casework, floor structure, walls, finishes, mechanical, and electrical work. All work will be done while principal building is occupied, mandating certain work techniques to avoid dust and debris migrating from construction area.

The contractor shall bid this project according to the constraints of the general notes, specifications, and construction plans. A site visit to determine any unforeseen issues is strongly recommended.

2023 – CITY OF PENSACOLA COUNCIL CHAMBER RENOVATIONS

BASE BID LIST:

This project is for a lump sum.

The lump sum price will include all ancillary items necessary to perform the work in an occupied building.

No night work shall be permitted on this project.

The contractor’s work shall include the necessary coordination of all existing utilities with respective owners and the timely address of any potential conflicts with required work.

Maximum access shall be provided to City staff if access to the work area is needed. City staff will coordinate dates and times for entry and be escorted by contractor’s personnel as needed.

Care shall be exercised to not cause any damage to adjacent infrastructure left in-place during reconstruction. Any such damage shall be the responsibility of the contractor.

All work shall be in accordance with the standards and specifications of the City of Pensacola.
