23-008 Clubbs Street Reconstruction

SCOPE OF WORK

S. Clubbs Street Reconstruction project includes the reconstruction and addition of a cul-de-sac to the existing 2-lane, dead end segment of S. Clubbs Street located south of Main Street in downtown Pensacola totaling approximately 353 feet in length. The project will include clearing & grubbing, erosion control, and excavation of the existing deficient roadbed. The proposed typical section will include stabilization, graded aggregate base, type SP-12.5 asphalt, and curbing. Maintenance of traffic elements for the work will primarily be located along Main Street but consideration and coordination will need to include the Transmontaigne trucking operation and ongoing Bruce Beach Phase 1 construction access.

All grade work and elevations shall reflect the design information provided in the construction plans. All proposed line and grade work shall be approved by the City Inspector.

Contractor’s work shall include the necessary coordination of all existing utilities with respective owners and to timely address any potential conflicts with required work. All sod placed shall be properly watered and maintained until permanently rooted/established to the satisfaction of the City.

Maximum access shall be provided to the property owners at all times during construction. Care shall be exercised to not cause any damage to adjacent infrastructure being left in-place during reconstruction. Any such damage shall be the responsibility of the contractor.

All work shall be in accordance with the standards and specifications of the City of Pensacola.
