Courts Accessibility Improvements Project
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive quotes from qualified contractors for
the Courts Accessibility Improvements Project. Sealed quotes will be received by the Gwinnett County
Purchasing Division, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046 until 2:50 P.M. local time on
Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Quote envelope should be marked on the outside with Quote Number, name
of Vendor, date and time of opening. One unbound original and two (2) copies should be submitted.
The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the alteration and complete detachment of a witness
stand from the judge’s bench area. Contractor to provide a new judge’s bench hutch, restore millwork where
detachment occurred, and supply a new witness stand at the location identified on the project plans. Scope
of work also includes, the relocation of A/V equipment and the addition of power outlets, data, audio, and
HDMI connections at the new proposed witness stand location. The project’s finish scope of work shall
include wall prep, patching, painting, restoration of existing millwork, and carpet/base installation.
When applicable, the County shall obtain all rights of way and easements required for the project unless
otherwise specified.

A pre-quote conference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Courts Annex
Building, 115 Stone Mountain Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. All vendors are strongly urged to attend.
Questions regarding quotes should be submitted to Alexis Holland, Purchasing Associate II, via email
alexis.holland@gwinnettcounty.com no later than 3:00 P.M. local time, Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
Quotes are legal and binding upon the vendor when submitted.
Quotes in the case of Corporations not chartered in Georgia, must be accompanied by proper certification
stating that said Corporation is authorized to do business in the State of Georgia.
No Contractor may withdraw his quote within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

Contractor agrees to complete the Contract awarded within the "allowable calendar days for completion"
from the date of the "Notice to Proceed".
Insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-5 or greater, be listed in the Federal Registry of
Companies holding Certificate of Authority and be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the
Georgia Secretary of State to do business in the State of Georgia.
All quotes must be submitted on forms provided by Gwinnett County and Agencies providing insurance
should provide proof that they meet the criteria outlined in the quote and contract documents.
Gwinnett County does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission or access to its programs

Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible quote. Gwinnett County reserves the right to
reject any or all quotes to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Quotes
may be split or awarded in entirety. Gwinnett County reserves the option to negotiate terms, conditions and
pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible contractor(s) at its discretion.
