Hall County Board of Commissioners (Owner) is hereby soliciting submissions from qualified construction firms specializing in HVAC and lighting renovation to work with Precision Planning Architectural Firm to replace and upgrade the HVAC systems and lighting needs at the Hall County Animal Services Facility. The facility is located at 1688 Barber Road, Gainesville, GA, 30507.

Hall County Animal Services is seeking proposals from contractors experienced in HVAC removal/installation, installation of exhaust systems and lighting installation. This will include the removal of four (4) existing DX split systems and the installation of two (2) new ground mounted RTUs and new exhaust systems for the four (4) dog kennel rooms. There are six (6) additional DX spilt systems to be replaced with new equipment. There is also a need for site lighting design and installation for the parking lot.
The County will accept Bids in the Purchasing Department located on the fourth (4th) floor of the Hall County Government Center, 2875 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30504, on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 2:00pm EST. This bid will be considered a turnkey project. For Attachment C, you will be asked to list a dollar amount for labor, material and other cost. You will need to attach a list that itemizes the dollar amount to support the bid total.
The design shall be turnkey, and all aspects of the design shall be included in the consultant’s scope of work including, but not limited to;
the removal of four (4) existing DX split systems and the installation of two (2) new ground mounted RTUs and new exhaust systems for the four (4) dog kennel rooms. . No other contact of any nature, verbal, email, or other communication is permissible with any other County staff member, nor its elected officials, nor Commissioners, during the evaluation process. The County may deem such as collusion, and thus render the submission in violation of the Official Code of Hall County and thus the County may render the proposal as non-responsive and not evaluate the proposal for an award.
