Cascade Elementary School HVAC Upgrades

Maxair Mechanical, LLC has entered into a contract with Atlanta Public Schools (APS) as Construction Manager at
Risk, and we are seeking competitively sealed bids for the building HVAC improvements and renovations of the
Cascade Elementary School System Replacement. Please accept this invitation to price the construction/renovation
work related to your trade.
Below you will find general pricing information and a link to the drawings.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Anticipated Start Date: August 13, 2024
Anticipated Completion: June 27, 2025
Project Area: 71,642 square feet
Renovated Area: 68,105 square feet

PRICING NOTES:
· Construction will take place during normal business hours. Include overtime as necessary to satisfy
construction schedule included in bid package.
· Required subs include Site work, Demolition, Carpentry, Drywall and Ceilings, Concrete, Window
Treatment, Doors and Hardware, Painting, Fencing, Landscaping, Fireproofing, and MEP trades.
· Trade Partner Outreach Event will take place Tuesday, April 1, from 8am to 5pm. This will likely be
the only opportunity to walk the job. Please plan accordingly.
· Trade specific scope sheets will be made available, so please be on the lookout for that. They will
need to be filled out and returned with your bid.
· All RFIs shall be submitted no later than COB Friday, April 5, 2024.
· All pricing shall be submitted no later than 2 pm on Friday, April 19, 2024.
· NOTE: All HVAC and Electrical Equipment is pre-purchased to accommodate the project
completion date.
· MWBE participation is heavily encouraged. Please provide percentage attainable with your
proposal.
· Please include phasing and continuous mobilizations for the project to be completed on a per area
basis.
