The City of Elgin is seeking prospective bidders to provide pricing for Crossing Guard Services. Crossing Guard services starting on August 15, 2023 for School District U-46. Proposals can be found on the City of Elgin’s website at
www.cityofelgin.org.bids.aspx

Qualifications:
|
The contractor is responsible for conducting criminal background checks on all crossing guards, including checks for sexual predator and sex offender status. The contractor shall provide the City with the results of the background check. The Chief of Police can decide a potential crossing guard is not suitable based on their
background check.
