RFP ERO DO #11-F-1-23/24 - Construction Services for the Union Mills Homestead Grist Mill – Millwheel & Shaft Replacement

The County Commissioners of Carroll County (hereinafter referred to as “Owner”) are inviting qualified General Contractors to submit proposals for construction services for the removal and replacement of the millwheel,shaft, main gear, and appurtenances for the grist mill at the Union Mills Homestead located in Union Mills, Maryland. The location of the grist mill is 3311 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21157. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Carroll CountyBureau of Building Construction prior to bid opening. The bidder must be approved for the type of work applicable to the project as stated. The pre-qualification application forms must be submitted to the Bureau of Engineering a minimum of fifteen (15)days in advance of the bid opening. Application forms are available for download from the Bureau of Engineering webpage. To ensure your prequalification gets properly routed to the Bureau of Building Construction for this project, on the application under “Items for Prequalification” and under category “T.
