The City of Bangor, in cooperation with The Bangor Area Comprehensive Transportation System (BACTS) and The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT), is soliciting proposals for professional services for a Planning Partnership Initiative (PPI) Study. Study to identify ways to improve safety and accessibility for all transportation users, address traffic volume issues, assess parking needs and demand, improve active transportation connections between Bangor Waterfront Park, address climate resiliency of the transportation system, improve connections to the Bangor Transit Center, and coordinate and phase needed utility upgrades including stormwater, sanitary sewer, drinking water, street lighting, communications, and traffic signals.
