General Notice
Charter Township of Waterford (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
PHASE 2 OF HIGHLAND ROAD (M-59) SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROJECT:
ELIZABETH LAKE ROAD TO TELEGRAPH ROAD
WATERFORD Bid Number: Dev Ser 24-02
OHM Project # 2009-23-0010

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Township Clerks Office located at 5200
Civic Center Drive, Waterford, MI 48329, until Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 2:00pm local time. At
that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read in the Auditorium.

The Project includes the following Work:
Intermittent sidewalk replacement from Elizabeth Lake Road to Telegraph Road along M-59.
Bids should be mailed to the City Office whose address is above. The bid shall be enclosed in a separate
mailing envelope with the notation “SEALED BID ENCLOSED” and the bid shall be in a sealed envelope
which indicates the Project Name and Bidder Name.

Bids may also be hand delivered to the City Office prior to the bid opening. The same reference to bid
packages as indicated above also applies to bids being hand delivered.

Prior to the time and date designated for receipt of Bids, any Bid that has been submitted may be
modified or withdrawn via email to kmarkee@waterfordmi.gov For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. . Such notice shall be in writing over the
signature of the Bidder. Written confirmation over the signature of the Bidder shall be received, and
date – and time-stamped by the receiving party on or before the date and time set for receipt of Bids. A
change shall be so worded as not to reveal the amount of the original Bid.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid
Form.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: OHM Advisors, 2365 Pontiac Road, Auburn Hills,
Michigan 48326, Alex Parent, PE, telephone number 248-751-3109. Prospective Bidders may obtain
copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents also may be examined at BidNet Direct, the Construction Association of Michigan
(CAM), and Builder’s Exchange of Michigan. Builder’s Exchanges are authorized to share the contract
documents with other exchanges.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, upon prior
appointment, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $220.00 for each set. Checks for Bidding
Documents shall be payable to “OHM Advisors”. Upon request and receipt of the non-refundable fee
indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. Partial sets
of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be
responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources
other than the Issuing Office.

Bidding Documents may be viewed and downloaded at www.questcdn.com . You may register for a free
