Adult Vaccines

: This is a single source posting notification; there are no solicitation documents for download. Note this posting is not a Request for Bid (RFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP). The Minnesota Department of Health intends to enter an agreement with Moderna to provide critical adult vaccines and the required distribution to support our vaccine immunization program. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has awarded contracts for the purchase of adult vaccines. The period of performance is June 7, 2023 through June 6, 2024. Vaccine purchased under these contracts shall be used solely for the purpose of Federal agencies and State immunization programs and shall be administered only to persons 19 years of age and older This renewal has been deemed a single source as Purchasing vaccine using an outside mechanism would result in us not being able to use these existing mechanisms, and we have no other distribution mechanism. Additionally, our current mechanism is in place at no additional cost to us and it is likely that a different distribution mechanism would result in added, unknown costs associated with shipping and distribution of these vaccines.
