This is a single source posting notification; there are no solicitation documents for download. This posting is not a Request for Bid (RFB) nor Request for Proposal (RFP).
Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), partnering with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) , intend to enter into an agreement up to 12 months w ith Innovyze, an AutoDesk Company, for 2 new licenses of XPSWMM .
The software to be purchased is a proprietary software only offered by one company. It is a popular software used by many municipalities and watershed districts in Minnesota. The software is used to model stormwater and flooding. There are other software packages that complete similar modeling; however, it is not possible to import an XP-SWMM model into another software and get the same results . Innovyze, an AutoDesk Company, retains exclusive ownership, copy rights, trademark of their proprietary XPSWMM. The State believes these services are not available through third-party entities deeming this a sole source purchase.
