Notes:
This is a Request for Proposal for 2024 Grassroots Funding Opportunity through the
Boone County Children's Services Fund.
The Boone County Children’s Services Board (BCCSB) has released this pilot
grassroots funding opportunity as an effort to invest more in smaller, community-
based organizations. The goal is for nonprofits to effectively build capacity for
contract delivery to serve Boone County residents. There have been long-standing
disparities that have resulted in a lack of investment in underserved communities.
More children, youth, and families could be better served by investing in
organizations that are best positioned to deliver meaningful and innovative services
in our community. Grassroots organizations are typically trusted in their
communities, their staff and leadership reflect the families they serve, and provide
services to kids and families through a framework based on the strengths of their
share sense of community.
Request for Proposal responses will be accepted until 11:00 a.m. C.T. on March
13, 2024 in the Boone County Purchasing Office, 5551 S. Tom Bass Road,
Columbia, MO 65201 or by electronic submission on the IonWave web
site:https://bocomobids.ionwave.net.
