The City of Durham, North Carolina, Department of Water Management (DWM) is requesting

Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consulting firms to provide Professional Engineering

Services for MUNICIPAL LANDFILL MONITORING AND DESIGN SERVICES.

The DWM anticipates utilizing the selected firm to provide the following monitoring and design

services for the City’s closed landfill:

 Semi-Annual Groundwater Flow Monitoring

 Semi-Annual Water Quality Sampling and Analysis

 Quarterly Landfill Gas Migration Monitoring

 Semi-Annual Landfill Cap Assessment

 Reporting to North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality

 Miscellaneous As-needed Support Services

 As-needed Design and Construction Administration Services

Statements of Qualifications delivered no later than 3:00PM on April 11, 2024 to 1600 Mist

Lake Drive, Durham, NC 27704 will be considered.

Consultants that are interested in submitting a SOQ are strongly encouraged to attend a non-

mandatory VIRTUAL pre-submittal conference on March 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM on the Microsoft

TEAMS platform. An invitation for the pre-submittal conference will be sent to those firms who

request a copy of the Request for Qualifications.
