Summary of Work:
Replacement and restoration of roofing, replacement of some roof metal, and
replacement of select sections of structural roof decking.
Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference on 9am, Thursday, February
22, 2024 at the Carolina Theatre, located at 309 W. Morgan St. Durham, NC 27701.

The Underutilized Business Enterprise (UBE) goals for this project are MBE 11% and WBE 7%.
Bidders are responsible for filling out the required UBE Construction forms and including them
in their bid package to be considered responsive. Contact the Finance Department –

Bid Forms and Other Requirements:
Each bidder must show evidence that they are licensed under Chapter 87 of the N.C. General
Statutes. A General Contractors License is required.
The following forms MUST be filled out and included with the bid proposal:
1. Bid Forms
2. Non-Collusion Affidavit
3. Contractor Safety Record Information
4. Contractor Workforce Diversity Questionnaire
5. Bid Bond
6. Equal Business Opportunity Program Construction Forms:
a. Form E-101 (UBE Participation On Base Bid), and
b. Form E-102 (UBE Participation On Bid Alternate)
Any bids submitted without these forms may be deemed as non-responsive.
The City of Durham reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and/or
accept such bid as appears in its judgement to be in the best interest of the City.
