Hargraves Park Tennis Courts Resurfacing Project

Pursuant to Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals for the Hargraves Park Tennis Courts Resurfacing (the “Project”) to be furnished to the Town of Chapel Hill, N.C. will be received by Zakia Alam, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, at the Town Hall in the first-floor conference room #102, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Chapel Hill, N.C., until Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. Please allow extra time for parking, as it may be necessary to park at the North Columbia Lot located at 205 N. Columbia Street, approximately one block from the Town Hall.

Prospective bidders may view the plans and specifications for the proposed project on the Town of Chapel Hill website ( www.townofchapelhill.org/ . Click on the “Businesses” menu, then the “Bid Notices” option, then the name of this project)

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 8, 2023, at Hargraves Park Community Center, 216 N. Roberson Street, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. All potential bidders are hereby notified that attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bids to be considered by the Town of Chapel Hill; failure to attend will disqualify the bid.

The Project Manager for this project is Marcia Purvis, Parks and Recreation Department, Town of Chapel Hill. All requests for interpretations related to this RFB must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager at mpurvis@townofchapelhill.org by 5:00 pm on February 13, 2023. All responses to timely submitted requests for interpretations will be published in the form of an addendum on the Town’s website on February 16, 2023.
