Buncombe County is accepting Statements of Qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk
services for the FY24 Hall Fletcher Campus Wide Renovation Project until Monday, February 19,
2024 at 1:00 PM at the Buncombe County General Services Department, located at 40
McCormick Place, Asheville, NC 28801. This project may consist of the following:
• Exterior window and storefront door replacements.
• HVAC/mechanical replacements including hydronic piping, air handlers, pumps, and
controls.
• Kitchen area renovations consisting of equipment and interior finish replacements.
• Elevator modernization or elevator addition depending on the available budget.
• Interior finish repair/replacement to accommodate the project.
A qualifications questionnaire, instructions to applicants, and other project information are
available below.
A mandatory pre-application conference will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
This pre-application meeting will be held at the board room at 30 Valley Street, Asheville, NC
28801. Please show your intent to participate in this pre-application conference via an email to
