Roof Maintenance for Several Buildings

The intent of this RFP is to bid the services of roof maintenance. Over the past several years we have set-up a three-year rotation cycle so that at the end all roofs have been cleaned and minor repairs completed. Thus, reducing the calls for emergencies and leaks. During the contract period, which is one-year, the successful firm will be our on-call service provider for all leak service calls.

For all prospective offerors is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. February 6, 2024, at the Support Services Department. Attendance at this conference is a prerequisite for consideration of an offeror's proposal. Copies of the bid package will be available at the pre-bid conference. Prospective offerors are encouraged to submit written questions in advance. Address is listed above. The walk-throughs will be right after the pre-bid meeting (same day). In the event the County is closed due to inclement weather, this meeting will take place on the next business day.

Each firm shall submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of their proposal to the County's Division of Procurement as indicated on the cover sheet of this Request for Proposal. The original proposal shall be clearly marked.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Indicate firm name, which is County of Davidson. The RFP number, which is above, on the front of each sealed proposal envelope or package, along with the date for receipt of proposals specified above.

The black-out date for questions shall be February 9, 2024, at noon.

Material and System Properties shall be in accordance with Roof Industry standard repair & maintenance guidelines.
