NOTICE TO BIDDERS
RFB#23-067
Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Wake in the Purchasing Department, Suite 2900, Wake County
Justice Center, 301 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, up to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023* at which
time they will be publicly opened and read for the Wake County Rural Center Repaving at 4021 Carya Dr #160,
Raleigh, NC 27610.
Complete contract documents will be open for inspection in the offices of the Engineer; Partners and Affiliates of the
ConstructConnect Network / iSQFT (www.isqft.com) which includes Carolina AGC - Raleigh Branch and the
Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas - Raleigh Office; Dodge Data & Analytics (www.construction.com)
which includes F.W. Dodge - Raleigh Branch and McGraw Hill Dodge Raleigh Branch; North Carolina Institute of
Minority Economic Development (NCIMED), Durham; or may be obtained from the Engineer as PDF formatted
digital files. Documents will be available starting on September 21, 2023. No plan deposit is required.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 28, 2023. We will meet at Wake County
Rural Center at 4021 Carya Dr #160, Raleigh, NC 27610. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory.
Wake County provides minorities and women equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of its construction
program consistent with NCGS §143-8. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Wake County Minority
Business Enterprise Program, as outlined in Section 00450 and 00500 of the Project Manual.
No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for bids.
Wake County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
