NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Wake in the Purchasing Department, Suite 2900, Wake County

Justice Center, 301 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, up to 2:00 PM, October 26, 2023, and immediately

thereafter publicly opened and read for providing labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of the

Wake County Apex Main EMS Station, located in 6950 Apex Barbecue Road, Apex, North Carolina 27502 (Wake

County Project Number: RFB #23-080).

Complete contract documents will be open for inspection in the offices of the Architect; Partners and Affiliates of the

ConstructConnect Network / iSQFT (www.isqft.com) which includes Carolina AGC - Raleigh Branch and the Hispanic

Contractors Association of the Carolinas - Raleigh Office; Dodge Data & Analytics (www.construction.com) which

includes F.W. Dodge - Raleigh Branch and McGraw Hill Dodge – Raleigh Branch; North Carolina Institute of Minority

Economic Development (NCIMED), Durham; or may be obtained from the Architect as PDF formatted digital files.

Documents will be available starting on September 25, 2023. No plan deposit is required.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for interested GENERAL CONTRACTORS will be held on October 5, 2023,

at 2:00 PM at the Wake County Eva Perry Regional Library – Large Conference Room, 2100 Shepard’s Vineyard

Drive, Apex, North Carolina 27502.

Wake County provides minorities and women equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of its construction program

consistent with NCGS §143-8. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Wake County Minority Business

Enterprise Program, as outlined in Section 00450 and 00500 of the Project Manual.

No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
