The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), “University,” is seeking Project Advisory Services, “Project Advisor”, to assist the University with, facilitating and administering the design and construction process, including supporting “big room” activities to deliver the project utilizing integrated, collaborative delivery and LEAN methodology. The Project Advisor will contract directly with the University to augment the UNMC Facilities Services staff. The University intends to procure design and construction services through a qualified integrated design and construction team. The Project Advisor, University, design professionals, contractor, and their respective trades and consultants form the Project Team. Services include, but are not limited to, facilitation in collaboration with the other Project Team member during the Programming Stage, Validation Stage, Design and Preconstruction Stage, and Construction Stage (which includes commissioning) for Project NExT Phase I, Project Health - Building The Healthiest Nebraska. Services are expected to begin in April 2024.

The SOQ shall include a one (1) page cover letter plus a maximum of ten (10) pages to address the SOQ criteria
specified in Section 3, for a maximum of eleven (11) pages excluding Resumes and References. Resumes for each
key team member shall be limited to no more than one (1) page and shall be attached as Appendix A. Reference
information shall be limited to no more than one (1) page and shall be attached as Appendix B.

4 Public Information
Bids submitted to the University are presumed to be public records. If bids contain trade secrets, academic or
scientific research work in progress and unpublished, or other proprietary or commercial information which if
released would give advantage to business competitors and serve no public purpose, it is the responsibility of the
bidder to designate such content as confidential. When bids are opened to determine a successful bidder, all bids
will be available for public inspection. Portions of bids designated by the bidder as confidential will be withheld from
public inspection. Any reasonably segregable portion of the bid that is not designated as confidential shall be
provided for public inspection after deletion of the portion or portions of the bid which may be withheld. Price terms
appearing in bids or proposals, invoices, purchase orders or other documents calling for the expenditure of public

A bidder shall be solely responsible for providing the defense to any challenge to a decision to withhold information
