LIVINGSTON COUNTY BID NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE TO BIDDERS HAMPTON’S CORNERS FUEL FACILITYREPLACEMENT AT LIVINGSTON COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT TOWN OF GROVELAND, LIVINGSTON COUNTY, NEW YORK The County of Livingston invites sealed bids for the Hampton’s Corners Fuel Facility Replacement project for the Livingston County Highway Department located at 4389 Gypsy Lane, Mt. Morris, NY 14510. This project generally consists of construction of a new aboveground storage tank fuel facility, including two 12,000-gallon tanks with stairway and walkway assembly; a remote fueling island with canopy; installing two new dispensers and a card reader; electronic level leak monitoring system; site, grading, and drainage work; electrical power and control systems; removal of two existing underground storage tanks; and demolition of the existing fueling island.
Sealed proposals for the construction of Hampton’s Corners Fuel Facility Replacement contract will be received by the Office of the County Administrator, 6 Court Street, Room 302, Geneseo, New York 14454 until 11 00 AM local time on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read in Room 205 of the Livingston County Government Center. All bids must be received in a sealed envelope and shall clearly be marked “SEALED BID ENCLOSED” and “HAMPTON’S CORNERS FUEL FACILITY REPLACEMENT”.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting at the Highway Department and site walkthrough has been scheduled for March 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM in order to review the specific requirements of this contract.
Contract Plans and Documents may be viewed and downloaded on or after March 18, 2024 by registering with Bid Net Direct at www.bidnetdirect.com. Please note that it is the Bidder’s responsibility to obtain ALL bid documents on the Bid Net Direct website. , where the Contractor’s name, contact name, address, telephone number, and email address will be recorded on the plan holders list. There is no fee to download the contract documents and contract drawings. If hard copies are desired a non-refundable $100 check is required payable to C&S Engineers, Inc. The Owner reserves the right to reject a bidder’s proposal if the submitted proposal is from a person, partnership, firm, or corporation that is not on the plan holders list. Bid documents will also be available for review only at the the Livingston County Highway Department, 4389 Gypsy Lane, Mount Morris, NY 14510. Within thirty (30) days after the date of the contract award, bidding documents in good condition may be returned to C&S Engineers, for a return of the deposit paid per the terms and conditions of New York State General Municipal Law §102.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum proposal price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract and said bond shall be in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents.

, no later than 4:00 PM Thursday, March 28, 2024. Only written Requests for Information (RFIs) will be accepted. The questions received and all answers will be sent to all in receipt of the bid documents no later than 4:00 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. If necessary, an Addendum to the Bidding Documents will be issued.
Bidders are advised that this contract will require the contractor and subcontractors to pay prevailing wage rates as a minimum in accordance with the current State Wage Rate Schedules. Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the Owner’s sales tax exemption. In addition, the Bidding Documents for this project contain detailed requirements for the qualification of Bidders.
All bids must be accompanied by a fully executed Non-Collusion Certification and Appendix “D” Certification “Iranian Energy Sector Divestment” pursuant to New York State General Municipal Law Section 103-g in order to be considered.
