INVITATION FOR BIDS
Project Name: Street Light Pole Painting
Project No. 24-029-CIP
The City of Dublin Ohio will receive electronic bids for the materials and labor necessary for the
completion of the 2024 Street Light Pole Painting project. Bids shall be received by the City of Dublin
via the Bid Express ® service at www.bidexpress.com until 11:00 A.M. local time on Wednesday, May
1, 2024. Bid documents will not be available until 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
The City of Dublin may choose to not award the bidand bidders shall hold bids openuntil sixty
days after the bid opening. The work for which bids are invited consists of: painting 499 street light
poles. The cost estimate for the Project is $200,000.00.
Documents are available online at www.bidexpress.com at no charge. By downloading these free
attachments, you will immediately become a plan holder. This ensures you receive addendums that
may be issued.
As a bidder, you must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation you intend to bid electronically
on before bidding. Note: Navigation of the Bid Express service is FREE unless you select a solicitation
for bidding and complete your purchase.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54
of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or
corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons
interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and
complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed by October 31, 2024.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio
products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of Prevailing
Wages is required for this Project.
The City of Dublin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or
irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion,
offers the lowest and best bid.
Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated
against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
