INVITATION FOR BIDS

Project Name: Glick Road Fountain – Restoration

Project No. 2024-001

The City of Dublin, Ohio will receive electronic bids from a licensed and qualified Contractor. The bid

shall include all materials and labor necessary to provide the re-construction of the Glick Road Fountain

with a few added improvements to the original design.

Bids shall be received by the City of Dublin via the Bid Express ® service at www.bidexpress.com until

10:00 A.M. local time on Thursday, April 11, 2024. Bid documents will not be available until 8:00 A.M.

on Thursday, March 14, 2024.

Documents are available online at www.bidexpress.com at no charge. By downloading these free

attachments, you will immediately become a plan holder. This ensures you receive addendums that

may be issued.

As a bidder, you must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation you intend to bid electronically

on before bidding. Note: Navigation of the Bid Express service is FREE unless you select a solicitation

for bidding and complete your purchase.

Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54

of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or

corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.

To submit Bid Bonds electronically, please ensure your company and your bonding agent's company

Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons

interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and

complexity.

All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio

products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of Prevailing

Wages is required for this Project.

The City of Dublin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or

irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion,

offers the lowest and best bid.

Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated

against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the City of Dublin Service Center on March 28th at 10:00am for a project

overview and provide time for any questions about the bid.

Construction expected to start sometime after June 9th, 2024, to accommodate the Memorial Golf

Tournament.
