Description:
|
The Troy WTP is designed to treat a flow of 16 MGD while only having well capacity of 10.5 MGD. Average flow rate is 4 MGD with a peak of 6 MGD. Due to security concerns that have arisen from the 2018 AWIA for citizens and staff, and OEPA recommendations the City of Troy desires to replace the current gaseous chlorine system with either a bulk 12.5% sodium hypochlorite feed system or an onsite generation of sodium hypochlorite. The city would like to consider the space available for both systems, chemical costs, maintenance labor costs, as well as initial capital cost for both systems.
