NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED BIDS for design/build of the Washington County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall No. 1 in Chartiers Township, Washington County, Washington, Pennsylvania 15301, will be received at the Office of the County Controller, 100 West Beau Street, Suite 403, Washington, Pennsylvania 15301, until 11:00 A.M. Prevailing Time on Tuesday May 7, 2024, and immediately thereafter will be publicly opened and read aloud therein. Late bids will not be accepted. All bids must be submitted as ONE ORIGINAL & THREE COPIES according to the specifications and upon a uniform proposal blank. The above-mentioned bid document may be obtained on or before Tuesday, April 9th from the Washington County website at Washington County PA: Official Website (washingtoncopa.gov). Vendors receiving bid documents are responsible for checking for contract changes and addenda at the website. Proposal must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier’s check, bank good faith check, other irrevocable letter of credit or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total amount of bid and made payable to the order of the Washington County Commissioners. Only the Bid Securities listed will be accepted. The Washington County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bid proposals. A Pre-bid meeting will be held on THURSDAY, April 18, 2024 @ 10:00 AM at Exhibit Hall Number 1, Washington County Fairgrounds, Chartiers Township, Washington PA 15301. This meeting is not mandatory. Interested parties may email any written request for clarifications or information to the Washington County Purchasing Office to Dalton Thompson at dalton.thompson@co.washington.pa.us or to Randy Vankirk at vankirkr@co.washington.pa.us. Any requests for clarifications are due to be received no later than April 28th, 2024. Inquiries will not be accepted orally or via phone. Requests for Information (RFI’s) will be distributed and responded to in the timeliest manner available and in question-and-answer form.
