Bid Bond/Proposal Bond

BONDING REQUIREMENTS Each offeror shall submit with their response a Proposal Bond with a good and sufficient
surety or sureties company licensed in South Carolina, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Proposal
amount. The Proposal bond penalty may be expressed in terms of a percentage of the Proposal price or may be
expressed in dollars and cents. This is to be uploaded under "Response Attachments" in lieu of hand-delivering to the
Procurement Department.
Performance Bond
BONDING REQUIREMENTS (BONDING IS REQUIRED IF THE BID IS OVER $50,000) The successful Contractor shall
be required to provide Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract issued by a surety authorized to do
business in the State of South Carolina
Payment Bond
BONDING REQUIREMENTS (BONDING IS REQUIRED IF THE BID IS OVER $50,000) The successful Contractor shall
be required to provide Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract issued by a surety
authorized to do business in the State of South Carolina.

The Certificate of Insurance submitted must be current and include all statutory requirements, per the specifications.
Certificates of Insurance that are out of date or not in compliance with the requirements will not be accepted and could
result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive or non-responsible.
