Jail Cameras and Cameras for Public Buildings
(Sheriff’s Office)
TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
The following questions were submitted by potential bidders. Our answers
are listed below in red:
1. We are based out of Missouri. Are there any restrictions on doing business with
a company from out of state?
No restrictions on out-of-town vendors.
2. Please provide floor plan/drawings and camera locations?
We cannot provide drawings.
3. One of the cameras listed to be used for the SB-I000846 Jail Cameras and
Cameras for Public Buildings (Sheriff’s Office) bid is listed as an AXIS M3265-
LVE but there is no Axis camera with that model number. Should the intended
model be a P3265-LVE instead?
Yes, that is correct.
4. On page 24 of the bid document there is not a line item to specify labor on
installing each camera. Should we include the labor cost with the camera ie line 1
with 708 cameras.
Camera + labor = unit cost?
That should be, so as total cost per camera is reflected.
5. I’d like to arrange a site walk for the RFQ for the Jail Cameras and Cameras for
Public Buildings project. What is the site address and what time should we
arrive?
Per the information posted to our website, the site visits concluded Wednesday,
January 31, 2024 and no others are scheduled.
6. What is the total number of cameras you currently have installed?
We currently have 969-installed.
7. What will the total number of cameras be after the 80 new installations have
been completed?
Total count will be 1050 at the end.
8. In the Sheriff Camera Addition Specs, a total of 974 cameras are listed. Is this
the current amount of camera or does this include the additional 80 new
cameras?
The 974-count does include the 80 new installs that will require cabling as well as
spares. 845 1 for 1 camera swaps, 80 brand new installs and 38 spares for future
growth.
9. In the new rack, are we to provide UPS, patch panel, and other accessories?
You all would provide the rack and bore drill through the floor if needed.
