Disaster Recovery Service

Brazoria County is seeking proposals for disaster and or storm recovery services consisting of debris removal and disposal services in order to eliminate and/or reduce immediate threats to public health and safety in accordance with the Stafford Act and Federal Emergency Management Agency (“FEMA”) policies and guidelines and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Emergency Relief program. Awarded contractor(s) will conduct all debris related removal from County roads and Federal-aid highways, including public right-of-way’s and public property and to set up and operate temporary debris staging and reduction (TDSR) sites at designated locations within Brazoria County, as specified herein. Awarded contractor (s) shall provide services which shall meet standards provided for in the FEMA “Debris Management Guide” and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Emergency Relief program and in accordance with local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations.
