| The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to select one (1) contractor to provide and deliver Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) on an as needed basis to the City?s Fleet Management Facility, 120 Forest Glen Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 in accordance with all specifications, terms and conditions herein. Delivery to the Fleet Management Facility shall be F.O.B. destination. | |||

| The contract shall cover the period from February 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024. This contract may be renewed based on the terms and conditions at the expiration of its term at the sole discretion of the City. Automatic renewals will occur for up to two (2) additional one-year periods through January 31, 2026. Initial rates and subsequent renewal rates must be guaranteed for a minimum of twelve (12) months. Any increase in rates shall be limited to the lesser of the Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers (CPI-U) ? Other Goods and Services (unadjusted for the current 12 month period) or 3%. Any increase in rate must be submitted sixty (60) days prior to contract renewal. The City does not guarantee approval of any rate increase. | |||
