Chickahominy Riverfront Park RV Storage Lot

The Work under this Project consists of the improving and expanding an existing RV/Boat Storage Parking Lot. The design proposes two phases of expansion. The first phase roughly follows existing cleared limits, and the second phase will increase parking capacity further east to a previously developed area that is currently not utilized by the park and has naturalized overtime. Each phase proposes installing a gravel pad to serve as parking lot drive aisles and stalls. The site will be graded to send the majority of stormwater to the western edge, where a level 1 constructed wetland will treat water before releasing into a jurisdictional waterway. A small portion of stormwater will be released as sheet flow along the eastern edge of the facility into proposed conserved open space. This work only includes Phase 1 of the project. The total limits of disturbance proposed are 4.96 AC.
