Pet License Processing Software and Collection Administration

James City County, Virginia (“the County”), is requesting information from interested parties for a modern cloud-based, hosted web application solution to accommodate pet licensing services to manage pet registration, vaccination, sterilization records, and license tag distribution. Pet licensing services include, but are not limited to, processing documentation, data collection, mailing letters and notices to residents, handling financial transactions, and distribution of licenses.

The purpose of issuing this Request for Information (“RFI”) is to:

1. Determine the level of market interest.
2. Obtain information on potential new services or approaches.
3. Obtain recommendations that would enhance the success of a future procurement opportunity for this service.
4. Obtain cost estimates for planning and budget purposes; and
5. Provide the industry with an opportunity to comment on the potential procurement opportunity.
