ITB #23-0052 - Tapteal l Booster Pump Station Upgrade
Public notice is hereby given that bids will be received for the City of Richland’s TAPTEAL l BOOSTER PUMP STATION UPGRADE Project by the City of Richland Purchasing Division until the date and time specified above, at which time bids will be opened and read publicly. This project includes construction of a new booster pump station (BPS), decommissioning of both existing BPS facilities (BPS #1 & #2), demolition of BPS #1, and repurposing of the BPS #2 for housing Onsite Sodium Hypochlorite Generation (OSHG) equipment. The work also includes permitting, construction management, coordination with public utilities, construction phasing, material procurement, earth work, building construction, demolition activities, plumbing, electrical, controls, HVAC, mechanical equipment mounting, startup, testing, quality control, and so forth to provide a complete and operable system as outlined in the construction documents. This project is estimated at $4,309,000 - $5,925,000 The City of Richland in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 200d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. All work performed on this project will be subject to state prevailing wage rates. The City of Richland is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. This project is partially funded through the Washington State Public Works Board program with state funds. The City retains the right to reject any and all bids. All contractors must be licensed in the State of Washington to conduct business.
