ITB #24-0007 - Truman Ave Reconstruction and Kennedy Road Water Main Improvements

Public notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received for the City of Richland’s TRUMAN AVE RECONSTRUCTION AND KENNEDY ROAD WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS Project by the City of Richland Purchasing Division until the date and time specified above, at which time bids will be opened and read publicly. This project includes the installation of approximately 4500 LF of 12 inch ductile iron watermain, this will include sawcutting and repairing the existing asphalt roadway by means of patching, and the reconstruction of 0.1 miles of a new roadway of Truman Avenue. The work involves the construction of the roadway, embankment and compaction, crushed surfacing top and base course, HMA ½”, curb, gutter, and sidewalk for the east side of the street, street light conduit and illumination. This project is estimated at $941,000.00 - $1,294,000 The City of Richland in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 200d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award
