Scrap Iron Services

The County of Portage Wisconsin (County), through its Purchasing Department (Purchasing), requests bids to establish a contract for scrap metal to be picked up at the County Highway Department and Portage County Solid Waste Department. Types of scrap metal at the Highway Department include; tin, wire, steel, aluminum, castings, rusty culvert pipe, guardrail, etc. Types of scrap metal at the Solid Waste Department include; tin, wire, bikes, chairs, appliances with and without freon, microwaves, signs, pipes, fences, pots and pans, etc.
