REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Proposals for Sterling Safety Corridor Improvements MP 82.5 to 94 Progressive Design Build, Project Number CFHWY00130A / 0A33026, will be received before 4:00 p.m., March 21, 2024 at the office of the Chief of Contracts, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

The selected Progressive Design Build (PDB) team will provide preconstruction and construction services to design and construct a four lane, divided highway on Sterling Highway from MP 82.5 to 94. The proposed federally funded project will improve safety and reduce congestion. The PDB procurement is intended to encompass all materials, labor, supplies, equipment and supervision necessary for the complete construction of the project.  The initial contract award will be for design phase services.

The Engineer's Estimate is $1,000,000 or greater for Design Phase Services and between $90,000,000 and $100,000,000 for Construction Phase Services.  The Project Completion date will be September 30, 2027.

From the DOT&PF website: http://dot.alaska.gov/procurement/awp/awp-bids.cfm?rc=CR your company must self-register by clicking on the Plan Holders link, or register with the Central Region Plans Room, or your bid may not be accepted.

Proposal documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
