CONSTRUCTION INVITATION TO BIDS (ITB’s)
Sealed bids in single copy for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work on Project No. 0972018/Z680850000; SGY State Street Pavement Rehabilitation, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time April 23, 2024, at the Construction Contracts Office, 1st Floor, 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska.
This Federally funded project will consist of replacing pavement, and reconstructing subbase of the roadway. Rehabilitating/improving the side street intersections with State Street, including pedestrian crossings, improving sidewalks and curb ramps to meet the American with Disabilities Act, and replacement of the storm drain system..
The Engineer's Estimate is between $20,000,000 and $30,000,000. All work shall be completed by September 15, 2026. This is a Race Neutral project as defined in Section 120 of the Specifications.
Plans, specifications, bid documents, reports, addenda, and other bidder information are posted online, and available for downloading free of charge at: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings .
Hard copies of these documents are still available in hard copy for a non-refundable fee of $100/set from the Southeast Regional Contracts, 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska, 99801-7999. Bidding Documents are available for inspection at the office of the Regional Department of Transportation and Public Facilities offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau.
