RFP #25-23-1-014, Pearl Creek Elementary School Access Imp and Plug-ins (CMAQ)


The Northern Region State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (Department), Division of Preconstruction Services, Design Section requires professional engineering services for an engineering design consultant to develop project specific bid-ready professional sealed Final Plans, Specifications & Estimates (PS&E) design package for the Pearl Creek Elementary School Access Imp and Plug-ins (CMAQ).

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately November 2022 through December 2024. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 and $500,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available SEPTEMBER 27, 2022 , and may be downloaded from our web site at: http://www.dot.state.ak.us/procurement/prosvcs/index.shtml ; then click on “Request for Proposals over:” under the Requests for Proposals heading. Or the RFP may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at the Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska. Persons residing outside the City of Fairbanks may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 451-2247 or TDD number 711 or 1-800-770-8973. (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment). There is no charge for the RFP package.

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THE RFP FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS: Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received at the address indicated on the RFP no later than OCTOBER 19, 2022 , 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.

The Northern Region Contracts Section will accept electronic (Zendto) submission of proposals.

*Received files will be downloaded but not opened until after the submittal deadline passes.

The proposals may still be dropped off at our office. A locked Drop Box is located at the outside entry of the Tech Services Building #3 (Contracts Building Main Parking Lot West Side Entrance). Call or Text (907) 799-5632 when you place documents in the Drop Box and we will retrieve and timestamp your documents.
