Item # 1: ( 390 - 63 ) ICI - Western: Mechanically Separated Chicken: Mechanically Deboned Chicken meat derived by processing raw broiler chicken breast, ribs, necks, and backs from which all skin has been removed and no kidneys or sex glands remain. These portions are processed through mechanical deboner. Meat Product is to be comminuted product with a definable content, light pink color, typical chicken odor and a bland flavor. Not to exceed 15% fat. Not to exceed 8% retained water. Not to exceed 60 lb box weight. Boxed product to be shipped on pallets. Product will not be accepted if received in crushed or damaged condition. Product shall be shipped frozen. No grading certificate required. Product must meet FDA and USDA specifications and standards and must be guaranteed to be wholesome. All deliveries shall conform in every respect to the provisions of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and all regulations promulgated there under and shall be prepared, processed, and packaged under modern sanitary conditions. All orders are to be either 40,000 lbs or 20,000 lbs. Deliveries will not be accepted on weekends or recognized state holidays. Delivery Hours are 7 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. Monday - Friday. Each facility will be responsible for the ordering of commodity for their respective site.
