  • Summary:The Office of the Attorney General of Virginia is seeking a qualified Bidder to produce a documentary-style video on fentanyl, opioids, and other drugs in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The purpose of this request for proposals is to solicit proposals from qualified Video Production Studios to produce a color, high-definition DVD video (hereinafter “video”), 21 minutes in length, in both English and Spanish, which can be used by the Office of the Attorney General (hereinafter “OAG”) to educate youth about the dangers of fentanyl and using drugs. The intent is to create a hard-hitting and realistic piece, using film and images from within the Commonwealth, that can be shown to at-risk youth, parents, and law enforcement. The video should leave the viewer with the impression that every aspect of drug use is detrimental to those involved and to the community and a desire to be part of the solution.

This video will provide parents, school officials, and citizen groups with the tools they need to understand the problem, and solutions in the fight against fentanyl, opioids, and other designer drugs. Only when we present a united educated front against drugs will we ensure a bright future for our children in Virginia. The video should include interviews with law enforcement officials, drug dealers, addicts, mothers, surgeons, the Attorney General, and community members affected by fentanyl.
