Summary:Sealed bids are hereby solicited for construction of an Apron Expansion project at the Virginia Tech Montgomery Executive Airport. Improvements include demolition & removal, excavation and embankment construction, constructing new airfield pavement, new electrical items, erosion and sediment control, stormwater piping, and other ancillary work associated with the improvements.
This is a unit price Contract. Bids will be received in the office of the Airport Manager, 1601 Research Center Dr., Blacksburg, VA 24060 until 11:00 a.m., prevailing local time, May 9, 2024. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bids will be open publicly and read aloud immediately following receipt of the bids.
