ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho Lewiston Office, at 1118

“F” Street, 3rd Floor DPW office until 2:30 p.m. local time, on Thursday, February 29, 2024 for DPW

Project 23-353 (Re-Bid) Repair Parking Lot, Department of Health and Welfare, Lewiston, Idaho.

A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include parking lot rehabilitation and site

improvements at the Department of Health and Welfare facility. This includes: the reconstruction of two

parking islands, new construction of three parking islands, curb adjustments, chip seal, concrete sidewalk,

striping and pedestrian facilities upgrades, as detailed in the project documents. This work includes asphalt

removal, asphalt patching, curb demolition and reconstruction, chip seal, striping, and installment of rock

mulch. There are also a few concrete pads and a rubber mat in the designated recreation area to the south

of the building which will be removed. No changes have been made to the previously issued Bid Package

(Plans, Specifications, & Addendums). Re-Bid is being issued in order to ensure all bid materials are made

available to all plan holders.

Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, February 8, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m., prevailing

local time, at the Department of Health and Welfare Office, 2604 16th Avenue, Lewiston, Idaho.

Bidders are encouraged to attend.

One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors from the Engineer for a refundable

deposit of $50.00. Others may obtain documents at cost, non-refundable. Or Bidding Documents may be

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public

Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
