ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 502 N. 4th St., PO

Box 83720, Boise, Idaho 83720-0072 until 2:00 pm local time, on Thursday, May 2, 2024 for DPW

Project 23-626 LBJ (Len B. Jordan Bldg.), 2nd Floor Remodel, State Department of Education,

Boise, Idaho.

A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include removal of walls and addition of new

walls to create new conference rooms, secure entry reception lobby, & a new office. Project to include all

new interior finishes throughout the space. Mechanical, electrical and fire sprinklers to be adjusted per the

new layout.

Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, April 18, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am, prevailing local

time, at the Len B. Jordan Bldg (LBJ) on the second floor, 650 W. State Street, State Department of

Education, Boise, Idaho. Bidders are encouraged to attend.

One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and

electrical subcontractors from the Architect for a refundable deposit of $100.00. Others may obtain

documents at cost, non-refundable.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required.

A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.

Estimated Cost: $233,153.73
